SymVerse Stake 2 Earn (S2E) is a reward mechanism that distributes daily mined SYMM coins based on the amount of NodePower (SNP), a proof-of-mining-power token, held by participants. The SYMM used for mining rewards is staked by the consensus nodes.
NodePower is created at a 1:1 ratio based on the SYMM staked by the consensus nodes, and it can be issued only up to the amount of SYMM held by guarantor nodes. One NodePower entitles its holder to mine SYMM in proportion to the formula:
1 / total number of NodePower tokens in circulation.
Mining Participation Requirements
- Guarantor Nodes :
- Guarantor Node Groups A and B must hold a minimum amount of NodePower. Currently, each guarantor node is staking 6,000,000 SYMM.
- Worker Nodes :
- All worker nodes must hold the same amount of NodePower as Guarantor Node Group B in order to participate in mining.

NodePower Attributes
- Perpetuity :
- The size of NodePower represents a perpetual ability to mine SYMM. As each block is generated, the corresponding SYMM is distributed to the registered mining accounts based on their NodePower holdings.
- Upper Bound on Supply :
- The issuance of NodePower is limited and can only be generated within the amount of SYMM initially staked by the consensus nodes.
- Basis for Participant Privileges :
- Holders of NodePower may be granted preferential rights to participate in various marketing events within the SymVerse ecosystem, depending on the amount of NodePower they hold.
SYMM Supply Function During Block Generation
The SYMM supply function follows a convex step function that decreases gradually each year based on block generation
- Based on the minimum block generation time of 1.39 seconds, the maximum number of blocks that can be generated annually is less than 22,687,770.
- The maximum total SYMM supply over 20 years is 367,920,000 SYMM.
- As of May 1st, each year, the maximum expected annual supply of SYMM is determined according to this schedule.
